2014 Video Contest Winners
There were some excellent entries, but the National winner is “Ocean Acidification” by Chelsea Aure, Tommy Fenton, and Tom Ertle of Marine Academy of Technology and Environmental Science. Through creative storyline and visualization, “Ocean Acidification” addresses human actions that increase CO2 and explain the CO2 cycle and the effects of ocean acidification on marine ecosystems in a fun and engaging way.
Congratulations also to our Fan Favorite Contest winner and the creators of the two National runner-up videos. The Fan Favorite winner is “The Human Element” by Joshua Weinberg, Mitchell Cairns and William Bates of Marine Academy of Technology and Environmental Science, which also took second place in the National competition. Third place is awarded to “The Environmental Rendition of Guys and Dolls ” by Sierra Cleveland, Ryan Kang and Terese Yoon of Los Alamitos High School.
