The National Ocean Sciences Bowl (NOSB®), in partnership with the National Marine Educators Association (NMEA) and the Ocean Today Kiosk, is sponsoring the 2011 Living on the Ocean Planet video contest.
On February 26, 2011 teams from the following NOSB regions will be showcasing their extensive knowledge on ocean sciences as they compete for the opportunity to advance to the NOSB Finals Competition in April.
Oceans 2030: Youth Outlook is a multimedia – photo, video and art – contest that provides a forum for youth to share their vision for our oceans over the next 20 years.

NOAA’s Office of Education has several scholarship programs for undergraduate and graduate students.
Each year, approximately 2,000 students from over 300 high schools participate at one of 25 regional NOSB competitions.
Brian Kennedy participated in the Southern Stingray Bowl as a sophomore, junior and senior while attending Oconee County High School in Watkinsville, GA.
