Your donation to support the National Ocean Sciences Bowl (NOSB) is inspiring the next generation of ocean leaders. The NOSB is an academic competition and program that addresses a national gap in environmental and earth sciences in public education by introducing high school students to and engaging them in ocean science, preparing them for ocean science-related and other science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) careers, and helping them become knowledgeable members of their community and environmental stewards.
Friends of the National Center
Friends of the National Center is the fundraising arm of the University Corporation for Atmospheric Research (UCAR), which manages the NOSB through its Center for Ocean Leadership. UCAR is a non-profit organization, so all donations to NOSB are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.
