The theme for the 2021 National Ocean Sciences Bowl is “Plunging into Our Polar Seas.” This theme incorporates many topics from sea-ice dynamics and coastal processes to the geology of the Arctic and Antarctica; impacts sea ice changes and variability have on the ecosystem to ocean observing capabilities and challenges and policy related to polar regions.

We look forward to seeing many new and familiar faces compete this year!
