2025 NOSB National Finals Competition
We are thrilled to announce the return of the NOSB National Finals Competition in 2025!
The Center for Ocean Leadership at the University Corporation for Atmospheric Research (UCAR), home of the National Ocean Sciences Bowl (NOSB) National Office, will host the Finals Competition on May 17 and 18, 2025, as a virtual, head-to-head competition on Zoom. We extend our gratitude to People Making a Difference, a NOSB Regional Host, for supporting this virtual event.
2025 NOSB STEAM Leader Challenge
The National Ocean Sciences Bowl (NOSB), supported by the Office of Naval Research, hosts annual STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Mathematics) Leader Challenges on Scoutlier, a free online learning platform for educators. These challenges allow high school students to learn from ocean science experts, tackle real-world problems, and compete for prizes. This year’s challenge focuses on ocean acoustics, exploring the study of sound in the marine environment through the integration of art and science. Learn more.
